The Orignial Beater Blade and Pour Chute Set by New Metro Design makes mixing with a stand mixer faster, cleaner, and more efficient. The set is engineered for use with most KitchenAid stand mixers. The Beater Blade is an electric mixer attachment which thoroughly mixes batter, eliminating the need to stop and scrape the bowl manually. It ingeniously improves on the functionality of standard V-shaped beaters offered with high-end stand mixers by crafting a high-quality, enhanced blade that includes a flexible rubber “wing” down the entire length of both sides of the blade which beats, scrapes, folds and incorporates ingredients thoroughly for fool-proof baking. The wing-system design acts like a wiper blade that continuously scrapes sides and bottom of bowl while it mixes virtually eliminating hand-scraping and batter build-up on the blade. Beater Blade’s state-of-the-art design continuously scrapes batters during mixing, which can speed up the mixing process by as much as 50 percent. By eliminating the need to turn off and on the mixer to scrape the bowl, Beater Blade also reduces wear of the mixer motor. The universal tall, wide rimmed surgical steel pour chute directs food straight to the center of the bowl where it belongs and is ideal for wet or dry ingredients. Simply attach the chute to the bowl and lock it into position so it doesn’t interfere with the mixing process. The Beater Blade included with Model PC-6L fits most KitchenAid tilt head mixers regardless of the KitchenAid model numbers. KA-6L Beater fits following Mixer Models: Professional 6 & 600, Deluxe Epicurean: KD2661X, KP26M8X, KT2651X, KP26N9X. Professional 5 Plus: KV25GOX, KV25G8X, KV25HOX. This beater is not compatible with KitchenAid mixers KSM657 and all Costco and Sam’s Club KitchenAid Mixers. This set is dishwasher safe and carries a lifetime guarantee.

Great Until It Broke…. I absolutely loved this blade! It worked far better than the sandard blade and scraped the sides of my Kitchenaid bowl perfectly. However, after about 8 months of use on a weekly basis, it broke at the base. If it were made of metal I think it would have faired much better. I really loved this blade but am hesitant to order another out of fear that the same thing will happen…. I submitted a picture above showing how the blade ended up.

BUYER BEWARE… When these first came out, there was a warning issued by Kitchenaid that these beaters could overstress your mixer motor. I assumed it was because it was a non KA product and they just didn’t like you using aftermarket products – and then KA released their own and I thought I was correct. Not too long ago I was using this beater for a relatively thick batter and the mixer got so hot that it actually smoked a bit. I used the original beater that came with it and had NO issues. In looking at the…

Don’t buy unless you like eating black goop What a piece of junk!! I guess you get what you pay for. I washed it before using so was surprised to find black goop on the blade when I finished mixing butter and sugar for a cookie recipe. Disgusted, I threw everything out that I had been mixing. I cleaned everything thoroughly and looked for any leaking grease from the KitchenAid (which was also brand new). Not finding any grease anywhere, I tried again the next night (just now). Guess what? More black goop after mixing for about a…
