Simple appliance but good quality and durable Ivehad this rice cooker for about five years. It finally died so I bought the exact same model because it is perfect for me. Its just myself and my husband so I usually make four servings or two cups of rice at a time. This is enough for dinner and leftovers. I like the simplicity of this cooker and I can set it then forget it until dinner is ready. It takes about 15-20 min so I usually start the rice before I start my meal. It automatically begins warming when the rice is done cooking so I…

perfect size and color Beutiful rice cooker, perfect size and color, new and great packaging but IT BURNS EVERY POT OF RICE COOKED ON THE BOTTOM. I thought simply my boyfriend was not putting enough water and he had never used a rice cooker before so I put it on him the first few times this happened but then I used it and it burns at the bottom eveytime. wish i could find the old one I previously had for 3 years it looked like this one but it NEVER burned the rice at the bottom every single time. cheap product not…

Hey! It cooks rice! It works well. I am new to rice cookers. It appears that I must be more attentive to removing the power when cooking is complete. The bottom will brown with white rice. I know this is enjoyed by some. Brown rice doesn’t brown, it burns though.I expect that the more expensive units are not appreciably better than this. Just be prepared to have a bit of a learning curve. Over the last few weeks, I’ve made maybe 5 batches, just to give you an idea.
