Better to eat it on the cob… I wanted this to work well. I love corn in the summer. I could eat 2 ears every day. And frequently do. So I was pretty excited to get my hands on a corn stripper to have a supply of corn OFF the cob for use in salads, eggs, salsa, etc. However, this particular unit has problems. First off, the cutting ring inside the unit is fixed at 1.25″ in diameter. Only one of the four ears of corn I stripped was small enough for this to work properly. On the larger ears, the stripper took off…

Not Good. They don’t adjust to smaller or larger cobs. After using it I still ate much of the corn off of the cob.

Works Only For Properly Sized Cobs – Otherwise It Ruins Your Corn I’m throwing my Chef’n Cob in the trash because it requires me to work harder while it is producing a lower quality product. Corn on the cob is in season right now and it is delicious! We’ve been enjoying corn on the cob daily and also will simply use a knife to remove the corn kernals to use a variety of other ways. When invited to review this Chef’n Cob, I accepted as I like any kitchen gadget that either saves me time or produces a better product; this does neither. It was hard work…
